Dow Microbial Control opens centre in Singapore
Subsidiary commits its expertise to south-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand
Dow Chemical Company business unit Dow Microbial Control has opened a multipurpose educational institution focused on the transmission, expansion and application of microbial control knowledge. According to the company, the Dow Microbial Control Academy in Singapore will help provide customers in the region with easy access to educational opportunities, regulatory support, technical advice and R&D tools through both online platforms and customised training sessions.
“Every customer has a microbial control challenge that requires a unique solution,” said Dow Microbial Control’s general manager Mark Henning. “The central mission of the academy is to teach, lead and research microbial control science and technology for the betterment of customers, markets and applications worldwide, and the Singapore academy will deliver on our commitment to provide that expertise locally in the south-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand region.”
