Custo Barclelona braves the fragrance market

Fragrance and fashion are once again to be linked following the global licensing agreement between internationally renowned designer Custo Barcelona and Idesa Parfums. The agreement will see the creation, development and marketing of a new line of fragrances that will be launched in August 2008.

Fragrance and fashion are once again to be linked following the global licensing agreement between internationally renowned designer Custo Barcelona and Idesa Parfums. The agreement will see the creation, development and marketing of a new line of fragrances that will be launched in August 2008.

Production is still in negotiation, with talks taking place with ICR, an Italian company, and ITF that belongs to the same group and will be responsible for distribution in Italy, Germany, Austria and Greece. Both companies have considerable experience in marketing high-end fragrances.

The move into fragrance manufacturing is a step forward for the fashion label in gaining further global recognition for the brand. Likewise, broadening Idesa Parfums's range of fragrances and continued focus on brands with a broad international appeal.
