CPL expands US business with Hagelin acquisition
CPL Aromas Inc of Somerset New Jersey, US, a subsidiary of UK multinational fragrance house CPL Aromas has agreed in principle to purchase the fragrance business of US-based Hagelin and company Inc.
CPL Aromas Inc of Somerset New Jersey, US, a subsidiary of UK multinational fragrance house CPL Aromas has agreed in principle to purchase the fragrance business of US-based Hagelin and company Inc.
CPL Aromas says it plans to transfer production of the Hagelin fragrance business to the CPL facility in Somerset, New Jersey once the transaction is completed, which is expected within the next few weeks.
Nick Pickthall, md of CPL Aromas Americas, says he is delighted that the two companies have agreed on a deal and that it represents an excellent opportunity for CPL Aromas to build on its existing business in the North American market.
Hagelin and company will continue to focus on its flavour business and new technologies.
