Leoplast has created a world first: a range of cosmetic packaging made entirely from natural plant-derived plastic.

The Vegetal Plastic range is made entirely of Ingeo natural plastic and comprises a lipstick case, a powder compact, a blush compact and a 50ml jar for eyeshadows, cold creams and loose powders. The range is also Ecocert approved to contain organic and natural cosmetic products.

All the packaging can be coloured with natural colours such as mica pearl white, chlorophyll green, curcuma acid green, cochineal red and corn-cob ivory. According to Leoplast, if one million lipstick cases were switched to ones made with Ingeo natural plastic, the fuel energy saved would be equivalent to that consumed by 400 Europeans.
