Colonial's green surfactant offers mild cleansing

Poly Suga Carb is the latest addition to Colonial Chemical’s line of green personal care products. Offering mild cleansing and excellent foaming properties, Poly Suga Carb is described as an exceptional substitute for traditional surfactants, scoring just 8.00 on the HETCAM chart quantifying eye irritation. In comparison, traditional surfactants sodium laurel sulfate, sodium laureth-2 sulfate and alpha olefin sulfonate all score over 20.00.

Poly Suga Carb also scores an 8.39 Green Star Rating, making it over 83% natural, says Colonial.
