The sale of Cognis’ subsidiary Pulcra Chemicals to Fashion Chemicals GmbH & Co has formally been completed according to the chemicals supplier.


The sale of Cognis’ subsidiary Pulcra Chemicals to Fashion Chemicals GmbH & Co has formally been completed according to the chemicals supplier.

The transaction follows the signing of an agreement between Cognis and Fashion Chemicals for Pulcra Chemicals, which supplies process chemicals to the textile and leather industries. Cash proceeds from the transaction are said to amount to 23.1 euros.

The sale is in line with Cognis’ strategy of focusing on its core business driven by wellness and sustainability trends according to the supplier.
