UK-based baby and child care brand Childs Farm has been awarded Leaping Bunny certification by Cruelty Free International, assuring customers that none of its products have been tested on animals.
The company hopes that the certification will give parents a better understanding of what goes into its products, helping them to make more informed decisions about the products they use on their children's skin.
Joanna Jensen, CEO and founder of Childs Farm, said: “Consumers in general are becoming more ethically conscious and we’ve seen a huge increase in the number of our customers asking whether Childs Farm products are tested on animals.
“We are all huge animal lovers here and we are happy to announce that we have never tested any of our products on animals.
“We will be displaying the accreditation proudly on our packaging and we’re proud to be supporting Cruelty Free International in their mission to end the animal testing of cosmetics globally.”
Michelle Thew, CEO of Cruelty Free International, added: “We are delighted Childs Farm has met our rigorous no animal testing criteria and achieved Leaping Bunny certification for its entire personal care range.
“We congratulate Childs Farm for demonstrating a commitment to eliminating animal testing and helping consumers make an informed decision about their shopping.”
Since its launch in 2011, Childs Farm has become the fastest growing baby and child toiletries brand in the UK with its range of skin and hair care products, made using naturally derived ingredients and formulated to be safe for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
The Leaping Bunny logo will be displayed on all the brand's packaging from September.
