Men’s skin care brand Caldera + Lab raises $6 million

The US brand will use funding from early-stage investment business HIPstr to accelerate growth

Caldera + Lab, a US brand specialising in high performance skin care for men, has raised US$6m in series A funding from HIPstr, the early-stage investment arm of HighPost Capital. 

Caldera + Lab was launched in 2019 by Jared Pobre, entrepreneur and husband of actress Stacy Keibler. 

Its line-up includes face serums, moisturisers and cleansers said to cater to the modern man’s grooming needs. 

The brand combines science with potent natural ingredients and sustainable business practices.

Caldera + Lab will use proceeds from the series A to accelerate growth, increase its market share and marketing efforts, fuel its retail expansion strategy and drive R&D.

It also intends to “add talent” throughout the organisation.

Caldera + Lab is HIPstr’s seventh investment and first in the grooming space.
