Barton scoops Hairdresser of the Year award

Andrew Barton, Saks Hair and Beauty, was crowned Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards 2006 last night. Trevor Sorbie picked up the Artistic Team of the Year award and the Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year went to Gary Hooker and Michael Young (Hooker & Young).

“The standard of entries in all categories was incredible and the judges had a really difficult job. I am sure that in 2007, as this year, the standard of entries to the British Hairdressing Awards will continue to inspire and motivate hairdressers throughout the UK,” said Jayne Lewis-Orr, publisher/editor in chief of Hairdressers Journal International.
