APG's domestic ventures will lead to growth in the current dispensing industry and will create new opportunities for customers in a vastly expanding market space. APG's high customer service for pump and closure design, development, tooling and manufacturing provides a competitive advantage within the global marketplace. The new facility in Defiance, Ohio is APG’s first manufacturing facility in the US. The company is now expecting to produce up to 500 million plastic dispensing pumps annually for the health and beauty industry.
APG has selected a manufacturing site in Defiance Ohio and has launched North America production of primary packaging. APG has invested in high-speed automation and high-cavity molds with all new molds built in North America. Line cell production models include capacity for high volume / low mix skus and low volume / high mix skus (instant colour changes). Both production models give APG the flexibility to provide short lead times to the customer. The new state-of-the-art plant is specifically built to APG’s manufacturing requirements and will ensure a clean, safe work environment for our employees and visitors.
