Alcan Packaging Beauty has scooped top honours at the 2008 Tube of the Year Awards, organised by the European tube manufacturers association (etma).

Alcan Packaging Beauty has scooped top honours at the 2008 Tube of the Year Awards, organised by the European tube manufacturers association (etma).

The French packaging specialist won the two awards in the plastic and laminate tube categories, with its masculine-looking Dieux du Stade tube taking top marks in the plastic category and a tube produced for Kneipp shower balm impressing judges in the laminate category.

Other winners included Alltub France, whose tube for Vichy Reti-Fill Homme triumphed in the aluminium category and Tubex’s What a Feeling tube, which was named winner in the prototype sector.
