Alcan lightens its load

Alcan Packaging Beauty has developed what it claims is the lightest tamper-resistant flip-top cap in the world. Featuring an integrated tamper-resistant system, the cap, called Access Denied, is designed for tubes and uses 50% less material than other caps in Alcan’s Slender range. A tear-off band is integrated into the cap design, helping the product meet market demand for more reliable and environmentally friendly packaging since it eliminates the need for a shrink sleeve.
