Agilex opens state-of-the-art fragrance lab

The fragrance division of US-based Agilex Flavors & Fragrances has opened a new centre of excellence in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The fragrance division of US-based Agilex Flavors & Fragrances has opened a new centre of excellence in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The 26,000sq ft facility is said to have state-of-the-art research and development, creative and analytical perfume labs, with dedicated application labs complemented by odour evaluation testing facilities for the air care, personal care, laundry and candle markets. There is also a sample production lab equipped with robotics to fulfil requests quickly and accurately.

“Our vision of offering big company resources and small company values is supported by our new centre which was designed to complement this core philosophy,” says Carlo Colesanti, chairman, president and ceo of the company.
