Accantia signs Simple up to the spa movement

Published: 4-Sep-2006

Accantia's Simple brand has branched out into the spa industry with the opening of its first treatment centre in Covent Garden, London. The spa, located on Neal Street, will feature six treatment rooms, with therapists offering sessions that can be squeezed into a lunch break or longer treatments lasting for up to an hour and a half.

The Simple brand, known for its sensitive skin formulas, has created 26 new skin care products to mark the occasion and plans to expand the concept across the UK to build a chain of 25-30 spas. The UK spa industry has grown significantly in recent years and is now thought to be worth up to £1.5bn. Accantia says its Simple business has doubled in size in the last year and that it is now the fastest growing brand by volume in the UK facial skin care market.
