ABIHPEC focus on R&D

The Brazilian Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industries Association (ABIHPEC) has created a new educational and technological arm (ITEHLPEC) to address the demand on innovation in the C&T sector. The objective of the new institute is to establish and consolidate the connections between manufacturers, universities and research centres to create new business opportunities. The Technology and Science Ministry (MCT) and the Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry have confirmed that they will partner with the institute. A strategic planning committee will be formed by the institute’s representatives to create guidelines for the technological development of the centre.
