Like traditional MAS, Neusilin UFL2 is a fine powder. However, the company says an extremely porous amorphous structure, combined with a large surface area gives it the ability to absorb 330% of its own weight and still remain powdery.

Its absorbency and porous-structure mean that Neusilin UFL2 can be used in oily skin and acne treatments as well as in bath tablets. Other notable qualities include odour neutralisation (it forms hydrogen bonds with odour compounds) and the ability to pre-load and release viscous oils.
