Lipotec's latest ingredient, Vanistryl, is a combination of actives incorporated in a new delivery system that promises to prevent the appearance of stretch marks and treat existing ones.
Vanistryl protects connective tissue from degradation, helps to reconstruct extracellular matrix components, reduces tension in the dermis and helps to regenerate the dermal components, imparting the elasticity that skin needs to recover. Ingredients are encapsulated into a mixed micellar system, which is reconstituted into liposomes by water dilution in the stratum corneum, thereby improving the actives' penetration.
Vanistryl can be used in emulsions, creams and gels where attenuation of stretch marks is required. It is also suitable for preventative treatments.
