Shiseido has appointed Alberto Noé President and CEO of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Noé, previously Deputy CEO for Shiseido EMEA, will be responsible for defining and implementing the Japanese beauty conglomerate’s regional vision.
He succeeds Franck Marilly, who has been promoted to EMEA Chairman, responsible for organising and overseeing the work of Shiseido’s Board of Directors.
Marilly will provide mentorship and guidance to Noé as he undertakes the role.
“I would like to thank all the people at Shiseido who have accompanied me throughout my career in this fantastic group,” said Noé.
“It is thanks to all of them that I can assume this new role and work together with Franck Marilly to build the future of our region.”
Noé is a Shiseido veteran, having worked for the company for the past 11 years.
He joined the group in 2013 as Country Manager for Italy and has been promoted five times in his tenure.
Noé previously worked for French beauty giant L’Oréal as GM for Lancôme Italy, as well as Direttore Commerciale for Chanel.
