A procurement role with an expanding and well-established development manufacturer of food supplements.
This is a brand-new role created, taking some work off the MD this is an opportunity to really make your own. You will be responsible for the procurement of raw materials and packaging required across the business.
Your main focus is to build strong, effective supplier management system to improve the sourcing and supply of materials.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve the best costs for all items and materials whilst keeping consistent and good quality.
- Build a good system to attract and encourage supplier to work with the team as well as improve those with low scores.
- Market Knowledge – keep up to date with the changing statuses of raw materials supply.
- Strong regulation knowledge for purchased materials.
Ideally you should have working knowledge in the procurement of food supplements and share passion for the industry.
This role is open to graduates who have a passion for the nutritional world and some experience.
