Porex is making it easier for applicator manufacturers to add enhanced antimicrobial protection to their creations.
Porex Barrier Technology, a unique elastomer that kills bacteria directly on the applicator surface, can be ‘woven’ into the company’s Nubiform applicator tip technology (an open-cell porous structure) to attack unwanted microbial organisms.
Thanks to this built-in bacteria-fighting technology in its packaging, Nubiform now has the potential to reduce the number of preservatives incorporated into products.
