Unilever completes financing for Kopari Beauty

Investment will enable brand to fund NPD into active ingredients in coconut

Two years after their initial investment of $200m, Unilever Ventures and venture capital firm L Catterton Growth Fund have concluded a $20m round of financing for Kopari Beauty, a premium US brand specialising in coconut-based cosmetics.

Another investor is San Diego-based University Growth Fund, the largest student-run fund in the US.
