Surfachem restructures its business unit

To support our continued growth, Surfachem has restructured its UK team into core business units. This restructuring will enable us to offer more specialised market knowledge, whist strengthening customer relationships and ensuring alignment with our suppliers’ strategies.

New roles have been created which will oversee the Personal Care and Home, Industrial and Institutional (HI&I) Care market sectors.

Within Personal Care and Cosmetics, and HI&I, we maintain industry-leading knowledge, a global ingredient portfolio and an experienced Technical team. Underpinned by our vision of delivering chemistry for a better life, forming divisions across our Technical and Account Management teams will allow us to provide a more customer-orientated service to meet individual needs.

Jason Dearden-Watts has been appointed as the Head of Personal Care, with John Heywood Head of Home, Industrial and Institutional (HI&I) Care. Their key responsibilities will include managing our Account Management and Technical Development teams.

These recent appointments also coincide with our investment in increased technical laboratory resource. Together, these changes will offer greater scope for specialised formulation development.

"Personal Care and HI&I are core sectors for Surfachem. Creating distinct business units will offer a strategic advantage in our future development. I am delighted to appoint both Jason and John and believe this will support our strategy of providing exceptional knowledge and expertise to customers, whilst also strengthening our longstanding supplier partnerships. From trends to customer expectations, both markets are extremely dynamic, and we look forward to the ideas, knowledge, and expertise that both Jason and John will bring to their new roles, and the Surfachem business as a whole"...Greg Barton, Managing Director – Surfachem Ltd
