Japanese conglomerate Shiseido has bagged former L’Oréal executive, Charles de Montalivet as its General Manager for UK & Ireland.
The announcement comes as the firm prepares to launch its new premium skin care brand, Clé de Peau Beauté, in the UK this autumn.
De Montalivet served with the French beauty giant for more than 15 years across the brands Giorgio Armani and Kerastase, after holding positions at tech consulting company Altran.
Shiseido said the UK & Irish markets are an important growth opportunity for the business and that de Montalivet will work to deliver its objective in the region.
Today, Shiseido is responsible for brands including BareMinerals, Buxom, Nars, Laura Mercier, Serge Lutens, Narciso Roriquez Elie Saab and Dolce & Gabbana.
