The location's Unit 1, which covers an area of ten acres, was inaugurated on 17 March and is the company’s eighth manufacturing facility.
The unit will be dedicated to manufacturing 23 different active nutraceutical ingredients, as well as those for the pharmaceutical industry.
It has the capacity to produce 88 tons per annum for the global market.
Sami-Sabinsa’s Hassan facility is equipped with 18 reactors (including eight glass-line reactors), two hydrogenators and other specialised equipment.
