Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new packaging and ensuring accordance with the brand needs for primary, secondary and transit packaging.
- Development of existing packaging and supplier performance and customer experience.
- Support the R&D team with testing of the packaging.
- Keep up to date with innovations in the packaging market.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing and Sales and with the wider NPD team.
- Help with the management of artworks and the internal approval process
- Work with the Senior NPD Manager on Marketing, Commercial and PR needs for innovation sampling.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in Packaging Development, within Beauty and Personal Care is preferred.
- Passionate about packaging with a strong creative and innovative flair, technical knowledge and understanding of NPD project management and critical paths.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task within a timescale and work efficiently under pressure.
- Adaptable, flexible and a team player.
- Strong skills working with Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
