Pierre Denis
Beauty conglomerate Coty is strengthening its board of directors with two new members.
Set to join the team is Jimmy Choo’s CEO Pierre Denis, who began his career in personal care with fragrance company Jean Patour before moving to LVMH’s Perfumes & Cosmetics division in 1992.
Seven years later he joined Christian Dior Parfums as its Asia Pacific Managing Director and took charge of its Couture division in 2003.
Since then, he was appointed CEO of fashion brand John Galliano before taking on his current role with Jimmy Choo.
Meanwhile, Russell Reynolds Associates’ Managing Director Béatrice Ballini will also join the personal care giant’s top table.
Ballini has been with the management consulting firm for more than 22 years and previously served as Vice President for Goldman Sachs.
Peter Harf Coty’s Chairman of the board said the company was “very excited” to add “the deep industry expertise and independent perspective” of Ballini and Denis to the board as it executes its Turnaround Plan.
