Chemspec Europe 2016 – Visitor registration and show preview now available

Published: 21-Apr-2016

Only six weeks to go until the 31st edition of Chemspec Europe, International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals, will open its gates at Basel Messe, Switzerland. Chemspec Europe is exclusively dedicated to the fine, custom and speciality chemicals sector, and with its focussed profile a must for international industry professionals.

The huge success of the previous event in Cologne illustrated once more the high demand for bespoke chemicals and innovative products. Compared to the event in 2015, this year’s 31st International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals covers a total net floor space of 5,800 square metres which represents an increase of 7% in exhibition space.

At the Basel Messe exhibition centre, a total of 383 exhibitors from 24 countries offer a wide choice of fine and speciality chemicals for a large range of different applications. For purchasers and agents looking for specific ingredients or bespoke solutions, the event is an ideal marketplace to source products, exchange expertise and build international contacts.

With Basel, an important manufacturing location for the fine and speciality chemical industry, the organiser chose a central marketplace amidst the tripoint of Germany, Switzerland and France.

High-quality conferences and workshops

Renowned as the premier marketplace for professionals in the fine and speciality chemicals sector, Chemspec Europe presents a product portfolio that covers a wide range of fine and speciality chemicals. Alongside exhibitors of raw materials, products and services, Research and Development is an integral part of the show. Visitors to this year’s Chemspec Europe will find a selection of conferences and workshops, presenting top-class content and the latest findings from ongoing research and development projects.

The conference programme includes the symposium of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the REACHReady Regulatory Services Conference, the Agrochemical Outlook Conference and the Pharma Outsourcing Best Practices Panel, moderated by Dr Magid Abou-Gharbia from the Moulder Centre for Drug Discovery. The ‘Chemspec Careers Clinic’, organised by Chemical Search International, will offer the option to discover new career opportunities. Detailed information on the conferences and workshops are available on the exhibition website. For visitors, participation in the conferences is included in the entrance fee.
