Luxury US skin care and make-up brand Chantecaille has introduced its first-ever UK e-commerce website.
The new site will offer the brand’s full range of skin care, colour cosmetics and fragrance products, as well as the brand’s bespoke services.
With the Covid-19 pandemic stopping many beauty brands offering consumers in-person consultations, like many others, Chantecaille has opted to launch virtual video and live-chat discussions with customers via the site.
These one-to-one experiences will enable consumers to discuss and tackle their skin care concerns and goals.
Speaking to Cosmetics Business about the effects of the pandemic Sylvie Chantecaille said: ”Our sales were of course affected by stores being closed.
“And right now the consumer is more comfortable being home, and while they are home they are really growing to better understand their own needs, educating themselves about naturals, products and about wellness.
“During quarantine people also have more time to think about what is essential for them and their happiness, they have the opportunity to rethink things.
“This leads to a more informed, motivated shopper. Clients will know what they want more than ever, and we are here to help them.”
Meanwhile, the new Foundation Finder is said to be a “user-friendly, quick and streamlined” process to help clients find their ideal foundation shade.
The beauty entrepreneur continued: “I couldn't be happier to now offer the UK the opportunity to shop directly with us and to truly dive into Chantecaille.
“The most important thing for us was to recreate the luxury experience online, we have to be an exceptional online brand and store.
“When shopping online, you are in a totally different world and can’t have the same tangible experience you would have at [the] counter.”
