The refillable aluminium bottles supplied by Vetroplas have been used to package a collection of limited- edition designs from Molton Brown for their luxury Bath & Shower Gels. The designs were the inspiration of marble artist Natascha Maksimovic, inspired by the entrance of the original 1970s Molton Brown salon.
Vibrant colours and mesmerising patterns characterise each design for a gift as unique as they are, with each of the three products featuring its own distinctive and timeless look and colour way to reflect the high-quality ingredients within - made possible by the highly sophisticated decoration techniques offered by Vetroplas’ factory partner, Envases, who are leaders in this field.
Limited Edition Re-charge Black Pepper, Fiery Pink Pepper and Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel are all available in 400 ml aluminium bottles with sloping shoulders made from 100 per cent PCR recycled aluminium offset with a matt lacquer.
Molton Brown has invested in industry leading Life Cycle Analysis tools to compare the environmental impact of various packaging formats. According to Beatrice Descorps, Global VP of Marketing, Molton Brown: “We discovered that aluminium is only truly sustainable if it has a high content of recycled material. This is why our new limited edition Infinite Bottles for Bath & Shower Gel are made from 100% recycled aluminium which reduces energy use by 95% and CO2 emissions by 83% compared to virgin aluminium. Our team worked closely with Vetroplas and Envases, who as EcoVadis-accredited suppliers, we could wholeheartedly trust to create a sustainable, high quality and specialised packaging solution that propelled our refillable beauty journey even further.”
Simon Dix Managing Director of Vetroplas adds “It has been a pleasure to work on such a standout launch and it is further evidence of why aluminium is becoming increasingly popular across a number of sectors. Few products can offer the same level of sustainability and decorative scope.”
