Dr Bruno Storp, former ceo of family-run fragrance house drom has died at the age of 82. Storp was the second generation of the family to run the business, taking over from his father in 1946.
Described as both a traditionalist and an innovator, Storp saw the business through international expansion, founding subsidiaries in the US, Japan and Australia and laying the foundations for much of drom’s current activities back in the 1970s.
The company is now run by the Storp family’s third generation, Bruno Storp’s sons Ferdinand and Andreas.
Bruno Storp will be much missed by family, employees and business partners.
