Traackr, the influencer marketing platform, has published a list of the most influential female-founded brands.

From Kat Von D to Tatcha and Beauty Blender, the list contains some of the industry's biggest names.

To determine the list, Traackr analysed the number of activated influencers, mentions and engagement rates on social media in 2019, as well as its Brand Vitality Score, which ranks visibly, impact and trust.

However, there is a notable absence on the list. According to Traackr, legacy female-founded brands such as Avon, Estée Lauder, Chanel and The Body Shop do not make the cut when it comes to authority on social media today.

Meanwhile, Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Kylie Cosmetics all claimed the top three spots respectively.

Here are Traackr's top 15 female-created influential brands:

1. Huda Beauty

Founded in 2010 by Huda Kattan, the former finance consultant-turned-passionate Instagram and YouTube beauty influencer, Huda now has 34 million followers on Instagram and 3.1 million on Youtube.

The company is now valued at more than US$1bn.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills

Romanian-born founder & CEO, Anastasia Soare, has a net worth of $1bn and pioneered the change in how consumers think about their eyebrows.
