Bulgari, the Italian luxury goods specialist, has given its Istanbul airport stores a makeover to celebrate its "timeless birthplace" of Rome.
The LVMH-owned fashion house wanted the Turkish stores in terminals 4 and 6 to showcase its customisable Allegra perfume collection with personalised gifts and accessories inspired by the line.
Bulgari said in a statement that it wanted the classic architecture-inspired interiors to remind visitors of the historic commercial ties between Italy and Turkey.
The store in particular uses Pavonazzo marble, a material that has been used in Rome since the Augustan era, but originates from modern-day Turkey.
"The result? An expression of eternal modernity that seals the extraordinary commercial route between Rome and Istanbul," said Bulgari.
"The luxurious marble dresses up the display units, and a solid marble table anchors each shop.
"The table echoes the clean lines of Roman monuments with a pillar-like stand and creates an inviting spot for fragrance exploration.
"A saffron backdrop, a nod to a Roman sunset, captures Roe's radiance and warmth."
Visitors at the airport outlet will be able to use an in-store app to introduce them to Bulgari's perfume offering, and help them create a custom Allegra scent.
Bespoke gift-wrapping, mocktails and Italian sweets are also available.
Allegra launched in 2021 as a range of five edps and five 'magnifying essences' to enable users to customise their chosen perfume.
This year, the prestige brand added three new products to the collection: Spettacolore edp, Baciami edp and Magnifying Myrrh essence.
