As Sales Manager for the Personal Care division, you will play a pivotal role in growing the business and maintaining relationships with key customers and principals. Your expertise in the distribution or manufacturing sectors, coupled with your established network of customer contacts, will support you in achieving the company’s vision for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing business and develop new opportunities with your customers
- Nurture key principals and contribute to the growth of their business
- Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales targets
- Provide exceptional, high-quality customer service
- Identify trends within the market and share ideas on how to grow the business
- Monitor competitor activity and assess market share
- Weekly travel to customers, exhibitions and events, to foster connections and track industry developments
Working with a supportive and collaborative team, this role will suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys solving problems and working with others to get the job done.
Skills and Attributes:
- BSc essential; MSc or SCS Diploma preferable
- Exceptional communication skills - clear, concise, and effective
- Comfortable with frequent travel within the UK, plus occasional overseas trips
- Experience in a similar role in the UK beauty industry
