The 2022 edition of the event will feature insight from the likes of Croda, Ichimaru Pharcos, Mibelle Biochemistry and more

In-cosmetics Asia, the Asia Pacific (APAC) region's biggest event for personal care ingredients, has opened registration for its 2022 edition taking place this November.

With more than 400 exhibitors set to showcase their latest innovations and insights on ingredients trends, the even hopes to connect personal care professionals with business and networking opportunities in the APAC regions, which today accounts for 36% of the global cosmetics market.

Attendees will be able to discover the latest ingredient technologies from the likes of Singapore-based Sequential Skin, a biotech start-up which has developed the world’s first at-home microbiome skin test; Korean bio-venture company Cellicon Lab , which will showcase its new PermeaCell peptide technology; and Malaysia's Sime Darby Oils Nutrition, the world’s largest producer of certified sustainable palm oil, which will offer insights into sustainable practices in the palm oil sector.

India's AVT Natural, meanwhile, will discuss how brands can respond to demand for 'cleaner' alternatives in cosmetics and personal care products, while Thai Flavour and Fragrance (TFF) will showcase its portfolio of personal care and fine fragrances.

The event's Innovation Zone, meanwhile, will feature demonstrations of active and functional ingredients from the likes of Croda, Ichimaru Pharcos, Chemyunion and more, while the Spotlight On dedicated product display will highlight the Fragrance, Healthy Skin and Make-Up categories.

Confirmed exhibitors include Cargill, Givaudan and DSM, who will offer live, hands-on, sensory experiences for visitors to discover their latest ingredients for these uses.

Formulators can also visit The Formulation Lab to discover new ingredients and formulation techniques from suppliers such as Gattefossé, Nikko Chemicals and Hallstar Beauty.

The 2022 edition will also host a masterclass on developing solid and waterless cosmetics , hosted by the event's new Technical Advisor, Dr Oliver Hofmann, who will explore the issues facing formulators as brands look to remove plastics and respond to increased demand for more eco-friendly solid options.

Finally, the event's Marketing Trends & Regulations programme will provide attendees with insights from professionals into the latest NPD trends set to shape the future.

These will include 'Ageless beauty and the evolution of anti-ageing to embracing ageing', by S&J International Enterprises; 'Conquering beauty e-commerce: innovation and reinvention' by Azarine Cosmetic; 'Disrupting the Beauty Landscape – the role of Gen Z and Millennials' by Flying Fish Lab; and 'Beauty from within: Nootropics and Nutricosmetics' by Global Data.

Ingredient suppliers including Bloomage Biotechnology, Clariant, Kumar Organic Products, Lipoid Kosmetik, LipoTrue and Mibelle Biochemistry will also contribute to the Technical Seminars line-up, providing attendees with insight to inspire new product formulations.

Attendees who pre-register for the event will also receive an exclusive industry report on 'The Changing Face of the APAC Cosmetics Industry', exploring the impact of the pandemic on the APAC cosmetics and personal care market.

In-cosmetics Asia will take place at Bangkok's International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand, from 1-3 November.
