YouTube star Zoella has broken Superdrug sales records with her second beauty collection – Tutti Fruity. The range hit stores on 6 July, selling one product every two seconds in the first 24 hours.
The collection saw an 87% sales increase compared to the first line, which sold out on the day it was released in September 2014. Superdrug says the new figures make the Zoelle range one of the best-selling celebrity lines ever launched in the store. Zoella products are now stocked in all of Superdrug's 800 stores, as well as on its website – which recently introduced international shipping to Ireland.
The retailer recently hosted an exclusive event in its Brighton store, inviting 250 Zoella fans to meet the beauty blogger. The new range includes an £8 body mist, said to be one of the most popular items in the range, as well as bath bombs, body scrubs and a lip balm.
