After writing love letters to her husband, founder Melanie Huscroft was inspired to create a collection as a tribute to their relationship

Younique has debuted its first fragrance collection inspired by founder Melanie Huscroft’s love letters sent to her now-husband over a two year period.

The three fragrances (£48 each) were created in conjunction with beauty company Coty and a different perfumer was used to formulate each of the scents.

Yours and only yours, me was created by New York-based perfumer Linda Song with top notes of tagete and blackcurrant; heart tones of ylang ylang, flowers and blonde woods; and a base of ambrofix, sandalwood and vetiver.

American perfumer Stephen Nilsen was responsible for formulating Dreaming of you, me and features cucumber, freesia, tea blossom, lily of the valley and violet petals layered on suede, musks and sandalwood.

Meanwhile, Passionately yours, me comprises of top notes of pear, cantaloupe and passion flower; with heart notes of tuberose, magnolia and dandelion; on a base of woods, musks and vanilla, created by perfumer Adriana Medina.

Each fragrance is packaged in a multifaceted cut-glass bottle finished with a ribbon and small silver medallion.

The packaging also pays homage to Huscroft’s love story; the outer cartons mimic the feel of an envelope with an embossed seal.

The fragrances are now available to purchase from youniqueproducts.com.
