The multi-level marketing company first hired the industry veteran in July

The President of multi-level marketing beauty brand Younique has been promoted to CEO.

Kristi Hubbard joined the company in July and will take over as chief executive from Younique co-founder Derek Maxfield, who will stay on as Chairman of the Board.

Hubbard has also been appointed to Younique's Board of Directors.

Maxfield described Hubbard as a "collaborative, engaging and a strong, strategic leader", adding that her appointment will support the social-selling brand's goal to be a "global pioneer in digital and product evolution".

Prior to joining Younique, Hubbard spent eight years as CEO at sustainable household company Norwex and served at fellow direct-selling brand BeautiControl for nearly two decades.

Hubbard added: "From the presenters [company sales representatives] to the executive team to the employees, all have been incredibly welcoming and helpful during this period of transition.

"I love the passion of our Younique family and their determination to live our mission every day."
