Sebastian Olzanski creates vegan fragrance

Canadian pop artist and social media personality Sebastian Olzanski has launched a vegan fragrance. Called Bae, the scent was created in partnership with Xyrena – a certified vegan and cruelty-free celebrity perfume.

Olzanski was born in Buenos Aires, later moving to Canada where he now lives and blogs as ThatSpanishBoy on YouTube. Aged 16, he has more than 130,000 followers on Instagram and 218,000 on Twitter. He recently released his first official music single, appearing in the top 100 iTunes pop chart within 24 hours of its release.

Bae is one of the first fragrances created in collaboration with a social media personality. Like all of Xyrena’s range, the scent is said to be suitable for both males and females to wear. The fragrance opens with top notes of bergamot, strawberry, pear and fresh cut grass. Middle notes include sage, cedar, pink freesia and orange blossom while the base includes notes of patchouli, musk, amber and vanilla.

Killian Wells, Founder and CEO at Xyrena, commented: “Sebastian was our very first signing and he took a chance on us before we’d even seen the success of our other fragrances. I think that’s very telling of his dedication to go above and beyond for fans, giving them something much more personal and exciting than the proverbial tees and posters offered by his peers.”

Bae is available exclusively through the Xyrena website at xyrena.com/Bae in two formats: as an extrait de parfum ($54) or a room and body spray ($18). The extrait de parfum is available exclusively in the US and Canada, while the body spray is available for international shipping.

Xyrena is an LA-based fragrance company, certified cruelty-free by PETA, Leaping Bunny and Vegan Action. The company is known for its innovative products.
