Sharmadean Reid follows up The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art with The WAH Nails Book of Downtown Girls

Sharmadean Reid, founder of east London's cult WAH Nails salon, has released a follow up to her April 2011 book, The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art. Titled The WAH Nails Book of Downtown Girls, the second tome features 25 more nail designs and tips on how to create them, including 3D nail projects sculpted with acrylic.

The WAH Nails Book of Downtown Girls, however, is more of a lifestyle guide than the original book, featuring observations from Reid's friends and the people who have inspired her from around the globe, as well as hair and beauty tips, style advice and instructions on starting your own blog. It also has more of a 'big city' feel; while Reid wrote The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art for girls who were interested in nail art but who lived outside London, she penned the follow up with an urban reader in mind.

WAH Nails, which also has a concession in Topshop's flagship Oxford Circus store, is expanding its nail empire on several fronts, having partnered with Models Own on a range of Nail Art Wraps (featuring six of the salon's most popular designs) since 2012; there is also a Models Own WAH Nails Nail Art Pen.
