Versace channels the god of love with latest male fragrance release

EuroItalia licensed fragrance brand Versace has launched a new men’s fragrance, evoking the god of love.

The Eros Flame scent (from £65) features olfactory notes of lemon, tangerine, orange and black pepper.

Mid tones include pepperwood, geranium, and rose facets; with base notes of cedar, patchouli coeur, Haitian vetiver, mountain oak moss accord and sandalwood.

The red bottle features the face of Medusa, a recurrent symbol of Versace’s packaging and a jewel-like seal fused in gold on its cap.

Meanwhile, the bath line comprises of an after shave lotion and balm, deodorant spray and stick as well as a bath and shower gel.

Commenting on the fragrance founder Donatella Versace said: "The spark of true love is the dream that each of us pursues.

"True love captures the soul, body, and mind and never lets you go. It takes your breath away because without your beloved, you no longer feel complete."

The fragrance will be available exclusively at Harrods from 23 January.
