Launching in April, the beauty collection is expected to centre around the women of Westeros

Urban Decay has added fuel to the dragon’s fire by unveiling a teaser trailer for its Game of Thrones collaboration.

While details on the launch are scarce, the brand has confirmed that the themed make-up collection is set to drop in April – just in time for the final season.

The show's first and only official beauty partnership, the L’Oréal-owned brand has hinted that the collection will centre around fire and ice (two core themes in the HBO series) with warm golden hues and cool teal metallic shades.

However, Catch 96 unveiled Game of Thrones-themed make-up brushes in 2017.

Best known for its Naked Palette product, it is expected that Urban Decay will unveil a collection of eyeshadow palettes inspired by the Game of Thrones female protagonists.

Posting on Instagram, Urban Decay revealed two dramatic looks with the captions “we are ready” and “worlds will collide”.

Despite the lack of the information surrounding the launch, the teaser has caused a flurry among consumers online, with the video trailer being ‘liked’ on Instagram almost 40,000 times.

In August 2018, Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke reprised their roles as D&G beauty ambassadors.

Meanwhile, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, also known as Jaime Lannister in the series, became a spokesperson for L’Oréal Men last year.
