US personal care industry dominated by women

New study reveals industry also employs more minority women in managerial positions

While it’s no secret that men continue to dominate the vast majority of boardrooms across industries, a new study would suggest that personal care is no longer one of them.

Published by the Personal Care Products Council in the US and conducted by PWC, the study – Economic and Social Contributions of the US Personal Care Products Industry – has revealed that the personal care products industry employs a larger percentage of women in both managerial and non-managerial positions than men, and compared with the national industry average for women. It also employs more minority women in managerial positions.
