Developer Majid Al Futtaim Holding has announced that they will be building two landmark shopping malls in Saudi Arabia.

The company will be investing 14 billion riyals, or $3.7bn in the two projects called the Mall of Saudi and City Centre Ishbiliyah. The Mall of Saudi will be located north of Riyadh whilst the City Centre Ishbiliyah will be built in east Riyadh.

The first phase of construction for the Mall of Saudi will commence in mid-2017 and is due to be completed in 2022. Containing the country’s first snow park, the development includes 300,000 square meters.
