This month sees a surge of pink hued launches from beauty brands

This month sees a surge of pink hued launches from beauty brands, in line with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. This year, US beauty giant Estée Lauder is encouraging people to create 'Circles of Strength' by getting friends, family or colleagues together to help support each other in making healthy lifestyle changes.

“This year, we feel it is vitally important that we encourage people to move beyond awareness by taking actions that we know can help save lives. My mother, Evelyn H. Lauder, believed that no one can defeat breast cancer alone – this spirit of unity is at the heart of our Campaign as we bring people together across the globe to defeat this disease,” said William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies.

Highlighting hero products

A number of beauty brands are launching pink variants of their most popular make-up products to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation this month. This includes Origins' Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Pink Guava, Clinique Almost Lipstick in Pink Ribbon Honey, the Stila All You Need is Love Palette and BareMinerals Marvellous Moxie Lipgloss in Survivor.

For nails, ORLY has gotten on board with its new Pretty in Pink shade, joining Avon with its new Pro + Nailwear in Viva Pink, and Nails Inc's Limited Edition Glitter Polish by Matthew Williamson and Poppy Delevingne.
