Indie British brand The Vintage Cosmetic Company has announced a retail deal with Dunnes Stores in Ireland.

The brand is known for its beauty accessories inspired by the 1950s and includes products for bath, body, hair and more.

Dunnes Stores will stock 17 of the brand’s beauty tools including tweezers and a manicure set as well as three different hair brushes.

Co-founder and Commercial Director of The Vintage Cosmetics Company, Clare Tarry, said: “Dunnes stores is the perfect fit for us and the response we’ve had already has been great.”

Primarily the retailer sells food, clothes and household products, but has now branched into beauty.

The chain also operates in England, Scotland and Spain.

Earlier this year the brand launched into JCPenney stores in the US and is set to stock 12 products there from July.
