Five perfumers awarded the Master Perfumer Certificate

Fragrance and flavour supplier Symrise has awarded five of its employees Master Perfumer Certificates, for their work creating fragrances for use in perfumes, cosmetics and household products.

Certificates were presented to Maurice Roucel, who works in Paris and New York; Joachim Corell, based in Sao Paulo; Hans-Georg Reindl and Robert Kuschel, both based at Symrise’s head office in Holzminden, Germany; and Egon Oelkers, who retired a few months ago and receives an honorary award.

“The Master Perfumer Certificate is a way of honouring these people’s exceptional contribution to the success and future of Symrise,” said Achim Daub, president of Symrise’s Scent & Care division. “They have used their talent to create compositions which are equally impressive to both our clients and their customers. It is thanks to their work that we can keep providing new inspirations in developing fragrances, which helps us continue to expand our position on the market.”
