From next February, UK fashion brand Superdry is stepping into cosmetics for the first time with a debut capsule collection. The brand, which is known for vintage-look fashion featuring Japanese graphics, already sells a selection of male and female fragrances via its network of shops and selected department stores.

The new beauty line, which will include cosmetics including lipstick, eye shadows, blush and bronzers, along with accessories such as mirrors, tweezers and nail kits, will be priced between £2 to £20. The beauty move is line with a push to attract more female shoppers to the brand and follows the release of Superdry's first female fragrance line in September, called Neon.

Mirroring the retro look and feel of the brand, the packaging of the make-up line features textured cross-hatching and uses a blend of craft card and bright prints with metal tubes and tins to bring a "sophisticated and technical" twist.

The collection launches into Superdry's global network of stores next February, including stores in Europe, the US and Australia. It will also be available online via the Superdry website.
