The personal care manufacturer and natural oils supplier will work together to develop products including liquid and bar soaps

Stephenson, the personal care ingredients manufacturer, is expanding its distribution network via a new partnership with UK-based natural oils and ingredients supplier O&3.

As consumer demand for natural oil-based ingredients continues to grow, Stephenson hopes to benefit from O&3's 40 years of heritage and knowledge in the sector to develop new products, according to the company.

Meanwhile, Stephenson will provide O&3 with a variety of its soap base products, which can be used to create both liquid and bar soaps.

Thomas Kerfoot, co-founder of O&3 alongside siblings Jennifer and Eleanor – known as the 'Oil Family' – said : “We want to offer our customers the right balance of product and expertise. Stephenson’s range and commitment to innovation aligns to those needs.”

O&3 currently offers a wide portfolio of more than 500 natural oils, butters, waxes, exfoliants, infusions and essential oils.

Now, its customers will also be able to choose from a selection of Stephenson products, including its Crystal Melt & Pour range, which features its best selling Crystal ST, a vegetable-based base used for creating clear bar soaps; Crystal WST, an opaque white variant; Crystal Goat's Milk, made with goat's milk ; and Crystal OMP, which features certified organic ingredients.

Richard Musgrave, Marketing Manager at Stephenson, added: “We are delighted to work with Thomas and the team at O&3 and are looking forward to combining our skills and expertise.”

Founded in 1856 in Yorkshire, UK, Stephenson supplies products for personal care brands worldwide and has twice received a Queen's Award for Export.
