I am working with a great skin care start up who is looking for an experienced formulation scientist to join their growing R&D team. You will be developing high quality formulations and create exceptional products, ensuring great textures, customer satisfaction and efficacy.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the cosmetic laboratory, maintaining consumable stock levels
- Managing and preparing technical documentation for safety assessments / PIF’s etc
- Attending internal meetings to discuss progress of projects
- Producing high quality skin care formulations for NPD products within tight deadlines
- Carrying out thorough research on active ingredients for new projects
- Evaluate product performance
- Sourcing raw materials and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Preparing, tracking and managing all product stability/compact testing, challenge testing.
