Sensai is preparing to expand into this Asian market

The brand hopes to achieve sales of JP¥400bn by 2025

Sensai by Kanebo Cosmetics is poised to make its debut into the Japanese market.

From September, customers will be able to shop 75 of products from its department stores counters across the country.

At the centre of its marketing will be the brand’s AS Series featuring three products blended with Koishimaru silk.

The brand is also preparing to make its China debut in 2020, but will expand through duty-free stores and cross-border e-commerce in Asia before hitting the market.

Meanwhile, Kanebo hopes to achieve sales of JP¥400bn and an operating income ratio of 15% in the cosmetics sector by 2025.

According to the brand, its Sensai products are sold in 4,000 department stores and perfumeries in more than 40 countries, primarily in Europe and the Middle East.
